Terms of Service

1. The service

Crew42 is a software service that lets you brief a digital crew, have work carried out on your behalf, and review the results. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the service. Keep your login details confidential and make sure the information you give us is accurate. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
• Do not upload malware or try to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not use the service to create misleading, harmful, or abusive content.
• Do not resell or resupply the service without our written agreement.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you put into the service and to the results you receive. You grant us the limited right to host, process, and transmit that content so we can run the service for you.

5. Automated output

The service produces output automatically and that output can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing it before using it, especially in client-facing or regulated work. We do not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

6. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable for periods already started.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance and events outside our control can cause downtime.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
